Vettel Tops FP3 While Mercedes Struggle

Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel top the time sheet in the final practice session for the Singapore Grand Prix as the Mercedes works team were unable to get within a second of Vettel's Ferrari.
Lewis Hamilton and teammate Nico Rosberg struggled to find their groove from the super-soft tyres, while Vettel was impressively quick and was 0.450s clear of the rest of the field. While his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen was second fastest ahead of the two Red Bulls, with Daniil Kvyat holding the advantage over Daniel Ricciardo.
The “Jedi Knight” Hamilton was 1.120s off Vettel on his qualifying simulation run before coming across traffic. The sliver arrows were losing time in all three sectors, suggesting Hamilton's lap was not off the pace due to a mistake at any of the individual corners and down to a genuine lack of pace. Rosberg was a further 0.4s off Vettel in the second Mercedes.
In a huge swing from the norm, all of the Mercedes customer cars were outside the top ten and the fastest Williams was 1.9s off Ferrari's pace, while Manor finished out there day with Will Stevens over nine seconds off the pace as he focused mainly on race pace after missing most of second practice on Friday.
