Anime Fans take over Anaheim California

Bleach, Naruto… and a snowball with wings? thousands of eclectic Anime fans flood Anaheim for the 2nd annual Anime California.
Anime fans are expected to attend the speeches, video game tournaments, marital art demonstrations, exhibits, and costume competitions running throughout the weekend.
Cosplayers gets into character at the annual event, after months of preparation - and thousands of dollars - on their costumes, a kaleidoscopic array of men and women turned up in their droves to celebrate Japanese animation and manga, a genre of comic book. Shows like Dragon Ball Z and Pokémon have captured the imagination of Americans and Europeans, who dedicate most of their year to preparation to dress as there favorite characters prior to the convention. It is a labor of love for some and Lifestyle for most.
Cosplayers at Anime California
The event started last year, when Jeffrey Suddarth, discovered anime conventions. He put together a team to start a new convention in California. The convention is meant to bring a new focus on fun events, attendee feedback, and build a great community to the anime world of the west coast.
